The Blood - The Water - The Spirit
The Lord Speaks
There are three things necessary to communicate with God all the time. He requires these things for all people. Though the Lord can do as he wishes and distribute his spirit in the manner for which he desires, his ask of faith and obedience remain true.
The Blood, The Water, The Spirit.
The blood of Jesus washes your sins. The water of baptism cleanses you in repentance. The Holy Spirit of God is the internal dwelling of the spirit of the most high.
The Spirit is God. The Spirit is the power. The Spirit is the life. The Spirit is The Way. The Spirit is a person in the name of Jesus Christ.
The blood saves you. The water cleans you. The Spirit anoints you.
The power is in all three. The father IS the son through the Holy Spirit.
The blood is Jesus. The water is death to self and re-birth. The spirit is the Father – The Spirit.
And Jesus Christ was revealed as God’s Son by his baptism in water and by shedding his blood on the cross—not by water only, but by water and blood. And the Spirit, who is truth, confirms it with his testimony. So we have these three witnesses— the Spirit, the water, and the blood—and all three agree. 1 JOHN 6-8
The Old Testament purification and redemption process required the same items regarding blood, water and the spirit.
After Moses provided all of the specific instructions regarding building the ARK of the Covenant, the Tabernacle and making the priestly garments for Aaron and his sons, the purification process is specific.
“Present Aaron and his sons at the entrance of the Tabernacle, and wash them with water. Dress Aaron in his priestly garments—the tunic, the robe worn with the ephod, the ephod itself, and the chestpiece. Then wrap the decorative sash of the ephod around him. Place the turban on his head, and fasten the sacred medallion to the turban. Then anoint him by pouring the anointing oil over his head." Exodus 29:4-7
The anointing oil represents The Spirit.
“Bring the young bull to the entrance of the Tabernacle, where Aaron and his sons will lay their hands on its head. Then slaughter the bull in the Lord’s presence at the entrance of the Tabernacle. Put some of its blood on the horns of the altar with your finger, and pour out the rest at the base of the altar." Exodus 29:10-12
"Then take some of the blood from the altar and some of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and his sons and on their garments. In this way, they and their garments will be set apart as holy." Exodus 29:21
Before Jesus went to the cross on purpose to allow his perfect blood sacrifice to serve as the redemption for all people for all time, the blood of animals was used.
