"And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him."
HEBREWS 11:6
God is the creator of the heavens the moon and the stars. He is all in all. He created man to seek his will - to see his majesty in nature. The Lord desires that you seek him - his will - his life - for Jesus is the word of God - Jesus is life - Jesus is the truth of God presented to us as a man - given full authority of the Spirit of God - God in the flesh - King of the world.
He knows you - loves you - and desires to give you all in all. God is not an accident - neither should your faith be flimsy. He is sovereign - seek his will - and your heart will manifest his works in you.
God requires you come to him by faith - in such you must take the action to seek him - to do his will. He gives life as you pursue his will in you. Wake up and seek the vision the Lord has provided - take the first step towards Jesus and he will power you for the task.
“Is it easier for me to tell this crippled man that his sins are forgiven or tell him to get up and pick up his mat and go on home? I will show you that the Son of Man has the right to forgive sins here on earth. So Jesus said to the man, ‘Get up! Pick up your mat and go on home.’ The man got right up. He picked up his mat and went out while everyone watched in amazement.” - Mark 2:9-12
Jesus told the crippled man to get up - By faith the crippled man stood up, picked up his mat and went home. Jesus told him to do something - the man did not question him by his own knowledge. No - he stood up and was healed by doing what Jesus asked him to do. Likewise, it is today with you.
“As he was going into a village, ten men with leprosy came toward him. They stood at a distance and shouted, ‘Jesus, Master, have pity on us!’ Jesus looked at them and said, ‘Go show yourselves to the priests.’ On their way, they were healed. When one of them discovered he was healed, he came back, shouting praises to God. He bowed down at the feet of Jesus and thanked him.” - Luke 17:12-16
Jesus told the men with leprosy to go and show themselves to the priests - when they did what Jesus asked - the men were healed. The Lord speaks to us and asks us to follow him -to cast our fears and infirmaries on him. Be willing to listen to God and then do what he asks.
