The Victory

“I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you.”
JOHN 17:21
The victory by Jesus at the cross is that he made it possible for all people to have access to him directly. Jesus as a man could only walk to so many locations and interact with a limited number of people. Through the Holy Spirit, he dwells in all those people who choose him and walk-in obedience to him. The Holy Spirit will work in us the very nature of Jesus Christ should we be obedient, such that we may be a light unto him in which others will see him in us and be saved.
It is the very intention of God to allow us the same spirit and access to himself as our Lord Jesus. It is this very point that occurred at the cross. It is in the Lord's triumph that intercession on our behalf was made perfect and complete. In this truth, let the Holy Spirit live complete in you. It is his very desire to give you his life, a new life. A life of eternity, hope, faith, love, truth, peace and joy. These are promises - gifts given as heirs to the kingdom. Call on Jesus as Lord and walk - in faith and obedience as you are truly sons and daughters of the most high.
"On the same day the tomb was found empty, two disciples were walking to a village named Emmaus. "They were talking with each other about everything that had happened. As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them; but they were kept from recognizing him." - Luke 24:14-16
The Lord rose to a new life that was not known previously. When he appeared to his own disciples after the resurrection, he was unrecognizable to them in appearance. At the cross, Jesus opened the gateway for all people to have access to his Holy Spirit. This is what is meant by being born again. These are not simply words, but the truth of a new spirit being born in you from Jesus Christ.
“There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone.” 1 Timothy 2:5-6
“And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.” Romans 8:26
“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” Galatians 5:22-23
“In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.” Ephesians 2:22
