The True King

"But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God."

ROMANS 6:22

I want nothing, seek nothing and desire nothing but that the Lord's will be done in me such that I may be purposed by him for fulfillment of the will of my Lord Jesus. Everything else is meaningless. To toil about, to move busily from one thing to another is meaningless. 

The Lord lives. Jesus is Truth and the Only way to everlasting life. There is but one risen Lord - One God - His name is Jesus. His spirit fills me whole. I am abandoned to the will of my Lord Jesus into eternity - through love - through faith - through obedience.

I am not my own master - I do not give myself life - and I do not belong to myself - but rather I belong to Christ. He found me and redeemed me. He has forgiven me of my sins and washed me clean in his blood. I am born again in his spirit and his truth for his purpose and use for his kingdom which lasts from everlasting to everlasting. 

Jesus is Lord of the living. Faith in him is not to be haphazard or halfway. You either recognize Jesus as the risen Lord who can do all things or you do not. There is no middle with Jesus or lukewarm affection that saves you. You are only set free of sin by the blood of Jesus Christ. You can only be born again into the kingdom of heaven through accepting Jesus Christ as Savior and asking for forgiveness in his name. 

“What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ...” Philippians 3:8 

“The words of the Teacher, son of David, king in Jerusalem: “Meaningless! Meaningless!”says the Teacher.“Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless.” What do people gain from all their labors at which they toil under the sun? Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever.” Ecclesiastes 1:1-4 

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
