The Role Model

"And you should imitate me, just as I imitate Christ.”

1 CORINTHIANS 11:1

The Lord Jesus did not come here to be a motivational speaker with business advice. He came to save the world. Discipleship is when you abandon all that is currently known for faith in the unseen Spirit of Jesus Christ.

The goal for man is to release the power of The Spirit of Jesus to the world. To heal, to bring peace, love and heavenly joy. To rid the world of lies, hate and fear. Jesus conquered all - and he gives you the power of the Father through the Spirit of triumph he gave at the cross. Accept it.

The Lord Jesus is asking us to be as he was. He has given us the power to do all these things through The Holy Spirit. His purpose was not only to save mankind but also to give us the power he has by choosing him and walking in his way with him - for him. He is the water of life - through Jesus Christ you can do all things - and he will do all things through you for the purpose of love.

Jesus is the model for man. It is the goal of God to have each person choose Jesus, accept his Holy Spirit and do the specific things that Jesus did and asks us to do. He came to set us free and show us how to live for God. Jesus lives and he is love. Jesus lives and he is calling you. Jesus lives. 

“Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.” 1 John 2:6

“For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps.” 1 Peter 2:21

“Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12

“And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.” Romans 12:1
