The Lord is a Spirit - God is a Spirit. The Spirit of Jesus Christ is alive and lives in All the Lord's chosen through faith. God is the great I AM. He chooses the people he created, to do the things he has long ago chosen, to fulfill his will through faith. He is who he is.

The body and flesh of man is chosen by each individual to be ever decaying or to be consecrated and given as a temple for the most high God. 

“You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you.” Romans 8:9

“For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24

“Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.” Ephesians 4:11-12
