The Counselor

“I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you." 

PSALM 32:8

God is life, love and truth. Prayer is seeking counsel from the creator of the Heavens and the earth. It is seeking wisdom from the one who instills it. It is seeking love from the one who designed every last detail of your heart. It is getting truth from the one who is truth.

Prayer is not a haphazard thing. Be right with God. Accept Jesus Christ as your savior, then let the spirit guide you into honoring God's commands. Through these acts of faith - in prayer the Lord will open up to you - it is his greatest desire - it is the reason you are alive.

“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7

“For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” Luke 19:10

“If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.” Matthew 10:38-39

“Therefore, it was necessary for him to be made in every respect like us, his brothers and sisters, so that he could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. Then he could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people. Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested.” Hebrews 2:17-18
