Standing In The Gap

Standing In The Gap

“I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one.”

EZEKIEL 22:30

The word of God is final. Absolute. In this world, we have created many schedules and things of perceived importance. The truth is that Jesus Christ came, triumphed at the cross - rescinded his Spirit to God - The Father, and in us - His chosen children - (All people who accept Jesus as the risen Lord and Savior and honor God's laws).

In this, your spirit is given new in Christ Jesus - this begins the makeover that God has planned to bring you into perfect harmony as a direct and obedient temple for the Spirit of God - The Father Is the Son through the Holy Spirit.

Jesus does not soft peddle what you need to do for him. He is first and everything must come second to be his disciple. His words are abrupt and sound discouraging in today's world where all actions are pardoned. To live for Jesus - there can be no thing that hinders his will being done in you. Therefore, Jesus calls you specifically to remove the gap that lies between you and him and he says - follow me.

“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

The Lord looked and was displeased to find there was no justice. He was amazed to see that no one intervened to help the oppressed.” Isaiah 59:16

“Jesus turned to Peter and said, “Get away from me, Satan! You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.” Matthew 16:23

“But there was a certain man named Ananias who, with his wife, Sapphira, sold some property. He brought part of the money to the apostles, claiming it was the full amount. With his wife’s consent, he kept the rest. Then Peter said, “Ananias, why have you let Satan fill your heart? You lied to the Holy Spirit, and you kept some of the money for yourself.” Acts 5:1-3
