Releasing Anxiety

"Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you."

PSALM 55:22

To be born again - is to be given new life - guided by a new spirit - the old way that you lived must end for the new life to take hold - you are identified with Jesus in this way. To be broken and molded by the spirit within - to be shaped into the image - the most high God has chosen for you - is what the Lord wants.

Obedience is the purpose for what comes next with Jesus. There is no forward progress without obedience as obedience is the lifeblood of faith. The Lord is always communicating in the spirit, when you are communicating with him. This is how he provides directions and tells you what he wants you to do. It is in doing the things he asks that brings about new opportunities and levels of growth with The Lord. There is no evidence of faith without obedience to Jesus through the Holy Spirit. 

I am thankful to Jesus for communicating with me in Spirit and revealing his path. The Lord is found in the little breadcrumbs he displays throughout each day. These breadcrumbs are reassuring as they let me know that I am in fact on the Lord’s path. The breadcrumbs are not always easy to find, so you must seek them. You must seek the Lord Jesus. You must look for the Lord Jesus in each situation. He is there, so look until you find him and when you find him, he provides the bread to sustain you as you continue to walk in The Way. 

Given over in entirety - fear not of what you might lose in giving all to Jesus - but take delight in the fact that he walks with you - on his path. The way of Jesus is the narrow road leading to the narrow gate - Jesus is the way to eternal life. He is always with you in spirit when you are with him in spirit. So you are not alone.

The body is stubborn and full of all types of anxiety when faced with crisis and the unknown. We know that the life of Jesus is true because he died and rose again and was witnessed by many. Though this truth must be believed by faith - because it occurred before you were born - it remains true nonetheless. Therefore, reconcile your mind to the truth about Jesus and worry not about things that you cannot control. If death cannot contain Jesus - what can he not do for you? 

Discipline is the key to obedience. Faith is the key to discipline. Trust is the Key to Faith. Truth is the Key to Trust. Testing is the key to Truth. Doing is the key to Testing. Hearing is the key to Doing. The Spirit is the key to Hearing. Jesus is the key to the Spirit. 

"For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born." 1 Corinthians 15:3-8 

“But my people did not listen to my voice; Israel would not submit to me. So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to follow their own counsels." Psalm 81:11-12 

" Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:6-7
