Partners With Christ

“Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering...”
1 PETER 4:12-13
Turning to Jesus for salvation does not mean you gain an instant pot of Gold. It means you will face difficulty, but it will not be as difficult for you because the spirit of Jesus will give you great - God-like strength.
Through the trials - you gain strength, purity, fearlessness and you get immense peace and comfort because Jesus already overcame the world. So, I know I can never actually fail completely because my Lord Jesus Christ saves me every single time.
It is misunderstood that choosing Christ is deliverance from trouble. It is truth that Jesus is deliverance while in trouble. All children of God will face trouble as spoken by the Lord - and God always provides what is needed in the moment. He does not give you tomorrow's spiritual strength today.
It is the strain of hardship that creates spiritual strength within. Without the strain there is no gain. Refinement of character and spiritual growth occur in the fire of faith. Take heart in the fact that there is no thing to great for Jesus to see you through - he has overcome the world and he defied death to be your guide.

“God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-5
