Obedience And Prayer

Obedience And Prayer

"But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!"

JOHN 15:7

People often pray from a position of disbelief that God can do what he says he will. There is no power in disbelief. When Jesus prayed to wake up his friend Lazarus, he said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.” John 11:41-42

Jesus always prayed from the full understanding that God will do what he says - and he always had faith to complete what he was told to do from his Father in heaven.

Prayer is the key to the power of the Kingdom of Heaven. All Power comes through prayer - with the Holy Spirit. Praying in the spirit is worshipping in the spirit - let praise spring from your heart - let your mind relax.

The spirit of God powers the body through prayer - through worship and praise of Jesus Christ. There is one righteous Lord - for your prayer to be most powerful - praise Jesus and pray with him for his will in you.

Faith is the way to Jesus and being obedient to the Holy Spirit that dwells within you is how the tasks of God are completed through you. It is in worship to King Jesus that his Holy Spirit will pray within you - on behalf of God - for you and his will to be done. The power of God is unleashed through you for his namesake in worship of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit lives in worship. The power of God is not commanded by people and has no effect without Jesus.

“As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever,” says the Lord." Isaiah 59:21

"The world’s sin is that it refuses to believe in me." John 16:9

"When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me. All that belongs to the Father is mine; this is why I said, ‘The Spirit will tell you whatever he receives from me." John 16:13-15
