Keeping Watch

"Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation."
MATTHEW 26:41
Temptation is simply the outward pull of desire as a reflection of inner man. The temptations that you feel outwardly reveal the inner spirit of the man. As you walk with the Lord - allow the transformation of your heart and mind to reveal your new temptations.
Feel not worried to have temptation for this is by design - reform that for which you are tempted though by the purification of your spirit in Christ Jesus. Allow the temptation of man to be the outward desires of the Spirit of the Lord.
Temptation itself is not sin. Temptations that you experience due to a lack of focus on God that are yielded to in lust can lead to sin. "Do not lead us into temptation," is said in prayer with a focus on God to yield your human nature of temptation to manifest itself for God's purpose.
“The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.” 1 Corinthians 10:13
“For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” James 1:3-4
“This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” Hebrews 4:15-16
