Fundraising at Irving Golf Course

Fundraising at Irving Golf Course

We had a great time on Saturday at Irving Golf Club raising awareness and funds.

We set up on  Hole 18 for a fun Closest to the Pin contest.

The staff at Irving is always accommodating and very generous. We very much appreciate their continued help in our mission to provide for the needs of mom's raising kids in poverty.

Dallas County has a substantially higher rate of child poverty than the National average. During the past 15 years, the number of people living in poverty in Dallas increased by 42%, outpacing the city’s population growth. Dallas’ poverty rate in 2017 was 18.5%, higher than the national average of 13.4%. Today, about 21% of Hispanic and Black residents (230,417 individuals) live below the poverty line. More than 28% of all children live in poverty in Dallas, with notable differences based on race—the Child Poverty indicator shows nearly 40% of Black children live in poverty, about three times the percentage of White children.

There are many families, many mom's and many kids that need help, right here

Irving Golf Club

where we live. We are so thankful for our community partners that help us by allowing us to raise awareness, raise funds and also meet many people at our events that provide referrals to friends and family that need help.

1st place hit a shot 6'5" and 2nd place hit a shot to 8'10". We met lots of great people and watched a wide variety of golf shots, which was fun.

We help bridge the gap between families in poverty and people that want to help.

If you are able and willing, please help today.

Thank you!
