Faith Is Not Rational

“But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means."

1 CORINTHIANS 2:14

The rational of the most intelligent human mind can absolutely not understand the Lord or obedience to the Lord through effort. Through obedience to the word of God - the Lord will open your mind and heart into his pleasing ways.

Obedience through faith allows the Lord to fill you with his promise to you. Continuing this walk allows new teaching, more wisdom and ultimate understanding that what the Lord has promised - he is about to deliver to his newly graduated disciple of Christ Jesus.

“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

“That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10
