Don't Be Afraid

Don't Be Afraid

“Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell.”

MATTHEW 10:28

The night Jesus was arrested, he was in the worst type of distress. He knew he was going to be hung on a cross to die and he knew he was going to be falsely accused and beaten severely.  But these are not the reasons he was in such pain. Satan was waging a battle in which to say Jesus was not the Savior of the world but rather just an emphatic religious leader that was just a man.

It is at the cross where the final triumph of Jesus became complete and where Jesus gave his purified spirit to the most high, thus allowing the intercession of the Holy Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ in our lives. His spirit alone gives life, love, peace, wisdom and understanding. It is the cross that displays triumph, the spirit brings truth. Seek the one who brings love, encouragement and everlasting life.

Jesus Christ on the cross is the absolute culmination of perfect triumph for the son of man. When Jesus gave his perfect spirit to God at the cross, it allowed the veil to be cast aside allowing all people to become sons and daughters of God.

In your spirit, he speaks to you and dialogues about every single thing that you desire to talk about. He is your companion in all things if you allow him to be. You are not alone, because he is with you. The Lord is your helper, your companion, your counselor, and he is love itself. Jesus is the perfect companion for every situation.

“For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.”  1 John 5:4-5

“Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death.” Hebrews 2:14

“He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.” Colossians 2:14-15
