Being The Conduit

“But because Jesus lives forever, his priesthood lasts forever. Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.”

HEBREWS 7:24

The mind of humans is tiny compared to that of our Heavenly Father. We are designed to seek him and his will. The false created realities of this world have turned quiet time into "let's kill time." Many people have clocked out.

The Lord seeks your heart. Those who feel they have all the human answers to fix another's life are misguided if they do not speak of prayer and the will of God. Pray for the Lords will to be done in another's life - pray not for people to see things your way but in the way in which the Lord has designed them to be.

Interceding for another is to bring another before the Lord - not to be the Lord. Intersession is born in the fact of the redemption of Christ Jesus. To petition on behalf of another - you must then by faith believe what Jesus did on the cross.

Activity stalls prayer as it relies on constant busy action to overcome that which afflicts. The Lord says, be still and know that I Am God. There is no task too great for the Lord - he rose from the dead, he walks on water, he heals the blind and he rose to heaven on a cloud. Yes - the Lord can do all things and you can do all things through Christ - for it is he who strengthens you.

“Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” Ephesians 6:18

The Lord looked and was displeased to find there was no justice. He was amazed to see that no one intervened to help the oppressed. So he himself stepped in to save them with his strong arm, and his justice sustained him.” Isaiah 59:15-16

“The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” James 5:16
