Being Submissive

“It is God’s will that your honorable lives should silence those ignorant people who make foolish accusations against you."

1 PETER 2:15

The call for all creation is to do the Lords will. As humans - we are created - given life through and from God, so that we can do what we are created for. For this, the Lord calls you to be obedient to him. He is love incarnate. The will of the Lord is for those that call Jesus, God, to be obedient to the voice of love inside of you and let that be what comes out of you. 

To choose to do the will of Jesus, it is our job to be powered by his Holy Spirit to be a light for him until he comes again. In us - he lives by our own choice. He will live completely in you - giving you all that he has testified about. Jesus is truth - Jesus is the only way - everything else is fleeting, fading and meaningless. 

The Holy Spirit is the Lord's advocate - our helper and mighty counselor that comes from King Jesus. He sends his Holy Spirit to all those that accept him as Lord and Savior - ask for forgiveness in his Holy name and are baptized by water in the name of the Father - the Son - and the Holy Spirit - and then are obedient to love and his will and his voice inside of you. You see - the Holy Spirit is the Lord's advocate for us to be able to do his will. 

We - as humans cannot do the will of King Jesus without the Holy Spirit inside of us. It is the power of the Holy Spirit of King Jesus that allows us to do the Lord's will. There is no human substitute or set of criteria that will suffice in lieu of the Holy Spirit.  

“If you love me, you will obey my commandments. I will ask the Father, and he will give you another helper who will be with you forever. That helper is the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept him, because it doesn’t see or know him. You know him, because he lives with you and will be in you." John 14:15-17 

“I will not leave you all alone. I will come back to you. In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. You will live because I live. On that day you will know that I am in my Father and that you are in me and that I am in you. Whoever knows and obeys my commandments is the person who loves me. Those who love me will have my Father’s love, and I, too, will love them and show myself to them.” John 14:18-21 

"But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me." John 16:7-9
